Becoming in union with God’s Spirit. Written by Manashantii on Saturday 18th January 2014

Reading the Holy Bible is listening to God and praying is speaking to God in conversation. Prayer is a tool that helps you to communicate and connect with God and to be in the Spiritual realm. Pray with passion, ask the Holy Spirit to lead and direct you. Love is God’s law. Bible study and regular prayers are ways we become in union with God’s Spirit. Speaking in tongues, Praying in the Spirit, being loving and constant thanks giving to God also unites us with God. Praying in tongues is Spirit prayer and praise language. It is a trans-rational experience. It is a Spirit prayer a Divine operation. Practice love, obedience, forgiveness and gratitude.

Do not follow carnal laws of the flesh. This means do not yearn for physical and sexual things. Depart from the flesh do not be carnal. Do not be self-centred.

Be in union with God, walk in love. Walking in love helps you to overcome the physical, this disciplines the soul and develops your Spirit. Trust God and commit to God deeply. Loving helps you to dwell in God. Confirm and confess your belief in the Bible as you read a few verses, if it is philosophical. Confirm and confess every chapter if it is a story. Use the Bible to praise God as you pray, pray scriptures. Praise God in your prayers and when evangelising pray and speak of how God has rescued you from your past experiences. Affirm your belief that God will be your guide and saviour in your situation. God gives and forgives because He is absolute love.

We come to God by His commandments, follow the love commandments of God. Total forgiveness of anyone who has wronged you is essential in order for you to be in union with God fully. Forgiveness is letting go off the past, no longer blaming or judging the person who wronged you. Practice love, obedience, forgiveness and gratitude. Walk in the Spirit with pure love and compassion always.

1 Thessalonians 5v16-v18  E.S.V.  Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 5v6  King James Version For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but faith which worketh by love.
