These exercises can be used in counselling or talking psychotherapy as well as for writing therapeutically or creative writing.

Emotional observation skills. Observe your feelings and emotional responses and reflect to see if there is any connection with your responses. Use self questioning and critical thinking to gain deeper insight. Use methodical introspection and self analysis to relate to your inner self. Write about it in your journal and pray.
Explore and Reflect skills. Explore, think and reflect about an incident in order to understand it at a deeper level. Reflect and think and learn from your experience. Write about it in your journal and pray.
Explore and Reflect skills. Write as if you are talking, emotionally venting, thinking, learning, emotionally connecting to your feelings, examining youry thoughts, exploring your personality, your behaviour and your identity. Pray asking God to guide you and give you insight.
