Holy Communion
Holy Communion. Written by Manashantii Wednesday 3rd October 2018
Communion comes from the Greek word “Koinonia” which means fellowship. Holy comunion is a Christian ritual where Christians perform the act of common unity with God. Holy communion can also be called Eucharist, it is the re-enactment of the last supper Jesus Christ had with His disciples before He was crucified on the cross. Jesus Christ was fully man and is fully God, He died on the cross to save us from God’s wrath, judgement and eternal damnation. Holy Communion is the taking of bread and grape juice or wine, it is symbolic of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice of when He died on the cross. When we eat the bread and wine or grape juice we are sharing a Spiritual meal with God, we are partaking in the Spiritual sacrifice of God and with faith we accept healing, spiritual restoration and forgiveness from God, this as a result changes your spiritual nature from dead in sins to revived by Christ.
You must be repentant in heart and forgiving of others each time you take holy communion. When you receive it offer thanksgiving and receive healing.
Christians take Holy communion in rememberance of Jesus Christ. The bread is symbolic of Jesus Christ’s body and the wine or juice is symbolic of His blood. We remember the death of Jesus and His ressurection and the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Taking communion develops your relationship with God and increases your Spiritual blessings. Holy communion is a ritual for people who accept Jesus as their Lord and saviour and are Christians. Examine your conscience daily. Confess your sins to God.
My personal experience is that Holy Communion, developing your identity in Christ by knowledge of the Holy Bible, intercessory prayer, praise and worship broke me free and delivered me from Spiritual darkness and lack of faith I therefore believe that Holy Common Unity with Christ (Holy Communion) draws you closer to the Holy Spirit. Having ever increasing faith and not giving up eventually led to me recieving the gift of tongues.
Confession
Heavenly Father, I remember the sacrifice Jesus made. I acknowledge that Jesus is the Passover Lamb who died for my sins. Jesus’ body was broken and His precious Blood shed for me. I partake in Holy Communion with God with faith and I receive forgiveness, healing and Spiritual blessings. I have an awareness of my sins and with faith I accept God’s forgiveness due to the sacrifice Jesus Christ made by surrendering His life and dying on the cross as a substitute for me He pardoned my sins by paying with His broken body and shed Blood which he sacrificed for me on the cross. I receive His Divine Blood and perfect sacrifice I receive opportunity to have a relationship with God, Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit. I receive healing and forgiveness and His promise of eternal life. In Jesus’ name Amen.

Leviticus 17v 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the alter to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
1 Corinthians 10v16-v17 16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break is it not the communion of the body of Christ? 17 For we being many are one bread , and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
Matthew 26v26-28 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Mark 14v22-25 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take eat: this is my body. 23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. 24 And he said unto them, This my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. 25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
Luke 22v19-20 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in rememberance of me. 20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
Luke 24v30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
John 6v35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
John 6v48-51 Jesus said:- I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever : and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
John 6v53-58 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54 Whoso eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me and I in him. 57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
Acts 2v42-46 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 Anf fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men as every man had need.46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart.
Acts 20v7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
1 Corinthians11v7-34 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. 12 For as the woman is of the man also by the woman; but all things of God. 13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? 14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. 16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such cusm, neither the churches of God. 17 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not , that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse. 18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it. 19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you. 20 When ye come together therefore into one place this is not to eat the Lord’s supper. 21 For in eating everyone taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken. 22 What? have ye not houses to eat and drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. 23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in rememberance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supper, saying, This is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as often as ye drink it, in rememberance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come. 27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. 33 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. 34 And the rest will I set in order when I come.
1 Peter 3v18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.
