Daily Devotion. Written by Manashantii Friday 11th of January 2019

When you wake up in the morning plead the blood of Jesus Christ over yourself, your family, and friends. Imagine yourself putting on the armour of God. (See. The book of Ephesians 6v10-18 in the Holy Bible) Remember you are a soldier of God’s Royal Army, a child of God. Approach God’s Royal Throne through prayer.

You should treat daily devotion as the most important Spiritual nourishment more important than food. Prayer is something you feast on like food, you should pray before your breakfast, lunch and supper, build a healthy relationship with God. Talk to God for at least twenty minutes for every spiritual meal.

Read 4verses to 4 chapters maximum per day if you are a new reader of the Holy Bible. So 4 verses in Proverbs and a Psalm; or as you start to get used to reading The Holy Bible then read in the New Testament for example:-  2 Psalms, 1 Proverb, and 1 New Testament chapter. Listen to Holy Bible verses when you are free through out the day.

Read in Psalms, Proverbs, and New Testament chapters, so read 4 chapters to 10 chapters per day if you are a mature Christian. If you continue to this and also read the Old Testament you will be able to read the whole Bible in a year.

Read these following verses to build you up mentally and spiritually. You will also need to pray afterwards, pray the prayer example that I have written after these verses :-

Deuteronomy 8v3 And be humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy father’s know; that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the of the LORD doth man live.

Matthew 3v16- Matthew 4v4 And Jesus, when He was baptised, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son,in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 4v1 Then Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2. And when he had faster forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3. And when the tempted came to Him, he said if thou be the Son of God command these stones be made bread. But He answered and said, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Luke 4v4 And Jesus answered him say, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Deuteronomy 6v13 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve Him, and thou shalt swear by His name.

Deuteronomy 6v16 Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Mas’sah.

Prayer :-

Heavenly Father give me the spiritual strength to overcome blockages that stop me from doing daily devotions. As I read daily the above Holy Bible verses you will give me supernatural strength. I thank you in advance for this strength. I trust in you LORD, for you said if I have a faith the grain of a mustard seed you will empower me and make the impossible possible in me. In Jesus’ name I pray Amen.
